Tom has been great for Capone. The first trainer I hired wanted to use a choker and choke him into being a good dog ( I was not enthusiastic about that). I met Tom at the dog park and had him come over, he uses a non abusive method and has Capone doing things I never thought he'd do. He's become an all around good dog, he listens well and is great with kids. I would recommend Tom to anyone, but especially a dog lover like myself. I couldn't stand the thought of choking into obeying and Tom has shown me a better way.

Tom has so many winning characteristics when it comes to dog training but I'll try to name just a few. Patience, with both me and my dogs- explaining and demonstrating techniques to enable us to progress. Adaptability in setting goals and reaching them- finding ways to work successfully with my dogs that have special needs and thoroughly enjoying the challenge. An emphasis on positive training methods- your relationship- reward based training has worked wonders with my dogs. Enjoyment in training. You obviously enjoy training and that enjoyment is contagious to dogs and their families. Training with you is great fun.

Thanks to Tom a walk in the park with our beagle mix Dollie involves walking and exploring, not leash tugging and frustration. Not only can he calm an extrovert, but our once-shy Brittany , Ada now gently greets visitors and enjoys attention even from strangers.

Tom has been assisting with the care of out two dogs for several weeks now and we could not be more pleased with his service. He is considerate, compassionate, dependable and honest, among many other obvious virtues. He has helped see our dog Hattie through two difficult knee surgeries and has been most helpful in gauging her progress and pain level to help determine medication and rehab needs. He always leaves a note to let me know of anything going on or differently with our dogs. We would highly recommend Tom for anyone with pets. Tom has been great with my adopted greyhound, Cee-cee. Since she spent the first 3 1/2 years of her life in a crate, she has a lot to learn. Tom has been great at getting her out of her shell and getting her to play. His program of teaching and his knowledge and love of dogs is wonderful. He gets results. It is a pleasure to have him work with Cee-cee. She has really learned a lot. I highly recommend Tom. He is unique. He loves his work and it really shows
